Last Thursday Costa Bingo invited myself and 20 other bloggers to play Musical Bingo at Concrete, an event space under the Pizza East in Shoreditch. I had no idea what to expect, but it ended up a really fun night out (perhaps too much fun for a Thursday!) The concept is simple - you get a bingo card, but instead of numbers, each box has a song title and if the DJ plays a song on your card, you cross it off (or kiss it a la Jayne). We noshed on pizza and sipped Prosecco (too much Prosecco!) and got to know each other while we waited for the event to start.
The event itself is really theatrical. Our hostess was wheeled out in a shopping trolley decorated like a swan and decked out with photos of the boys from One Direction. Throughout the night she teetered around the stage in sky-high glittery heels, dancing and pumping up the crowd.
By the end of the night, those of us who were left were dancing like crazy and I'd reached the stage where I thought this pouty face was adorable (definitely time to go home!)
Thanks so much to Costa Bingo for hosting us and introducing me to Musical Bingo and such a lovely group of bloggers!
And I'd love to know, what type of London-y things are you most interested in reading about: the big attractions, fun things to do on a night out, great places to eat, hidden cocktail bars...? I'd love to hear!
To red lip prints & confetti showers,
