Processing Difficult Emotions (aka Feeling the Feels)

We live in a society where it's never really "okay" to express our less desirable feelings - anger, sadness, fear, etc. And a lot of spiritual and self-help practices teach us to use positive thinking to essentially push down and ignore these feelings. This video is a Facebook Live I recently shared in Girl Gang HQ. In it I talk about the negative impact this has on us physically, mentally, and emotionally, and what I've been doing to allow these feelings to fully express themselves naturally (without totally making a scene in public).
